RepGlow is made by Petrus Briland in Sweden, who is the data controller. Questions about your data: support@repglow.app.
Without an account
If you use the app without signing in, everything stays on your phone. Nothing is sent to us.
What we store when you have an account
- Your email address, for signing in with a code and for invitations from a coach.
- What you log: workouts, sets, programs, notes and your own exercises.
- What you choose to add to your profile: bodyweight, training environment and equipment, injuries and how your muscles feel.
- Coaching: the link to your coach and comments on workouts.
- A push token if you allow notifications.
- Your IP address when you ask for a sign-in code, to stop abuse.
Why
To run the app: syncing between your devices, working out your progression, and letting a coach you invited see your training. No ads, nothing is sold, and no third-party tracking or analytics.
Who handles the data for us
- Cloudflare: the servers that run the service.
- Neon: the database, in Frankfurt (EU).
- Resend: the emails with sign-in codes.
- Expo: push notifications.
- Anthropic: only when you use the AI features (the AI coach, reading a program from a photo). Only what that request needs is sent, and it is not used to train their models.
Some of them may process data outside the EU, with the safeguards the GDPR requires.
If you connect the Claude app to RepGlow, Claude reads your training through the connection you approved, and you can remove it at any time.
Your coach
If you accepted a coach, the coach sees your workouts, programs and profile for as long as the link lasts. You can end it at any time.
How long
Until you delete your account. Everything is then removed at once; it may stay in the database's backups for a short time until they are overwritten.
Your rights
- Export everything: Profile → Your data in the app.
- Delete your account: Profile → Delete account in the app, or on the web.
- Correct, restrict or object: write to support@repglow.app.
- Complain to the Swedish data protection authority (IMY).
Changes
If the policy changes we update the date at the top, and for bigger changes we tell you in the app.
